I have a BCM 400 4.0 and when I make a conference call, all works fine until I bring in a third party. Once I do that, all calls get condensed to one intercom line, so when I try to drop one person, I can't. Is there a way to make this not happen this way? I have 3 intercom buttons, and even if I bumped it up to 4 it did not help. Thanks,

This is a throwback from the Norstar systems - I don't know of any way around it (other than to have one of the remote parties hang up)

Can I assume that you use the intercom, line pool, to dial out.
If you have line appearances on the phone and use two different lines, they will stay on the lines, then you can put parties on hold and talk to just one, go back to conf, or hang up on one.
Unless, of course, you are using PRI. It works on POTS lines.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?
