Actually a couple of items I am having trouble resolving.
Two CICS systems, one three years old and the other one year. Both installed in restaurants on UPS and surge protection. Four phone sets each.

Both systems will suddenly have no lines with dial tone and in a random fashion days and weeks apart. Solution has been to power down CICS and reboot. Problem goes away. Does not happen at any other installation over the last five years.
Checked for lose connections and amphenol seating.

Problem two is regarding audio over the newer phone sets T series. Normally audio is quite good both ways but at night and the odd time during the day the customer calling in cannot hear the person at the restaurant and vice versa at random times. Switched out a phone set and it was better for a bit then back to the random audio. The audio is always good when I call in to test at various times.

Are the lines regular POTS or Analog hang off of the Router?

Make sure your lines have Supervised option turned on ecpecially if you have VM on the system.
