A couple of years ago I had a HD crash on the BCM400. In the past couple of days I have been seeing what appears to be the exact same signs (will post separately).
My reseller told me that I can schedule nightly backup to a network folder similarly to how I export the call data logs to a folder, however in BCM Element Manager when I go to Administration -> Backup and Restore -> Backup -> Schedule Backup I cannot change the scheduled backup to go to anywhere other than Device.
Is there a way to change this to go to the Network Folder or FTP other than doing an immediate backup? If not, is there a way to transfer the backup file or files off the unit after the backup?

That's a bit unusual. What version of the BCM software do you have installed?
Is this a new scheduled backup, or are you changing an existing one?

When you click device does it not bring up BCM, FTP, USB or Folder (what you want)?

It figures. As soon as I post the drop list on the scheduled tab starts to work. The other day only the Immediate tab would work while going to the Scheduled tab would only allow BCM to show in the backup to drop list.
Ahhhhh!
Thanks.
