I am concerned that this might be a sign that my HD on my BCM400 is about to fail because a couple of years ago when this happened it turned out to be a drive on the verge of crashing.
I have a user that is repeatedly getting the same fax from someone. I imagine there must be some sort of error during the transmission that is causing the other person to send it the 3 or 4 retries before it quits. Strangly, when the user tries to retrieve the FAX out of their voice mail that same FAX repeatedly fails again when printing to the uses preset destination.
Once this fax fails to send out of the VM system, the VM service and the CCR tree on the BCM400 stop.
Like I said, a couple of years ago this was almost the exact same pattern and after having to reboot the BCM a couple of times over a couple of days the system did not come back up and we had to restore the system.
