I am having trouble getting a Mailbox # 1110 to act normal. The box is set like all others but when you press F981 it always says Log instead of Password like normal.
I was thinking that we may have a numbering conflict so I tried changing the Ext to a spare # 1118. It did not change anything but when I changed the DN back to 1110 and did F981 it said password but it would not accept the reset password reset. It kept saying MB locked.
I checked all of the mailboxes via the computer and all appeared built correctly.
Has anyone ever ran into this before?

May happened only if MB and Ext. don't match. That is why I suggest you to change a port and try.

I did not try to change the port. I did change the DN and that did not make any difference. Since the port is not a Ext. or a MB do you really think that could make any change. At this point I am willing to try anything to fix this annoying problem.

If you are absolutely sure that the mail box and extension match up, then reboot the Call Pilot.
Have you ever used Set Relocate?? My bet is yes.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

NT, I will get the customer to reboot this evening. Yes set Relocation is currently on. They have about 65 mailboxes currently active and only this box is acting this way. I went to every box and all match the DN of the mailbox.
Thanks

If you changed the DN to 1118 then it was trying to open mailbox 1118 which had a different password then 1110.
For a test (if reboot did not help) try deleting MB 1110 and create something like MB 2000 and associated it with DN 1110 and test.

That is just one of many reasons I do not like SET RELOCATION.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?
