can a 824 w dr5 sftwr and a flash vm forward the extensions call to their cell phone. can line redirection be used on one extension only. thanks dave

no t1 but someone told me i may be able to use the line redirection after all. dave

issue will be a volume drop on the 2 lines unless the pots line are comming in at a perfect db loss.Try a conference call from system and see if its bearable.

Only on 4.1 software and up can you forward a phone externaly.

Otherwise per above Line redirection but ony usefull if that user has their own private line.

Check me out on this, I'm not sure. Could you not make the POTS lines into Centrex and use the flash feature redirect the phone call using the VM?

I can duff at most Norstar VM stuff but am not a guru on custom stuff. We did the call transfer using Centrex on Samsung years ago by transferring he call to a mailbox that played a string of [flash] [pause] [1 + area code and number.]

I don't know if you can do this with Norstar Flash but it worked fine with the Samsung and as the CO was redirecting the call the voice quality was normal.
