I have a Norstar MICS at my current location and plan on having a Norstar MICS installed in a new remote location. I came across some information on the Nortel VoIP Gateway and if I understand correctly, I can use the VoIP gateway to communicate between Norstar MICS systems at multiple sites over an IP network. Is that correct? What is the optimal configuration for the VoIP gateway? Do I need to implement QOS on my network? Are their any special considerations I need to make before purchasing my network routers? What are the pros and cons of using the gateway? Thanks everyone!
