I believe I have done this before, but forgotten. How do you setup an extension so that it forwards to an outside # without needing a phone setup and forwarded.

Phone must be plugged to do a forward but not to do a line redirect.

Yes, Line redirect. That is what I want to do. How does that go again.

Assign target line to appear at a phone, use Feature code for line redirect, press target line, then dial dest code.
