I thought I knew how to do this. I need to remove a line from a CICS. CUstomer is porting to a new service and will have 5 analog rather than 6 lines. I don't want them to get dead air if they dial 9.

I see. So one does not delete a line in this instance but you move it to an unused pool?

or make it "Public" or "Private".

Or, just delete that line from being assigned to phones in "line Assignment." Then you would have an extra assignable button if you are showing the lines on the phones which you are probably doing as there are only 6 lines now.
Assuming you have the lines in Pool A, you would as MooreTel suggests, probably make it a public line.
