Has anyone ever heard of an issue on an M3902, where pressing one of the line keys assigned to be handsfree mute turns the volume on speaker phone all the way down and can't turn it up using the volume button? I've seen 2 of these phones doing it in the past week and it's kind of odd. Before pressing the hf mute button the volume works fine as does the rest of the phone. I guess I'm wondering if it's a phone issue or an issue with the KSU.

I don't know with that system or that model of phones, however it sounds like maybe the phones need an internal cleaning. :shrug: It wouldn't hurt to have a look. You can try it with one & see what you get for results.

I did pull one apart to check if anything looked funny and to clean off any connectors that may have gotten dirty. It still seems to do it though, only on the M3902's though. Usually I can fix it by unplugging the phone and plugging it back in. Then I can hit the handsfree mute and still adjust the volume.

Well, hang in there. Maybe someone with more knowledge on this phone/system will pipe in.

Thanks for the help so far! It seemed like a really odd issue to me too.

M3902 does not use a KSU it is behind a Meridian Switch, and it sounds like you have either bad sets or the sets don't have the latest firmware that's on the switch, and you may need to download it.
