Have three sites with PRI. Latest is MICS 7.x, which is up and working fine. Due to the numbers given to me by telco, I have to use "5" as an destination code.An extension has a target line with an emergency number. Just prior to a predicted snowfall it was desired to forward that extension to a cell phone. However feature 4 plus 5, gives an "invalid number" error. My routing seems to be identical with the other, working, sites. What am I missing ?

For THAT extension (that you are doing the forward on) allow redirect=YES
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

That extension has allow redirect, yes, already set. Because I , after CF did not work, tried redirect. And got varying results depending on which cell phone carrier called the number. Didn't want to open that topic yet as I have several ideas from mining the database. The system should, at least, recognize the destination code.

Well, it seems I cannot CF off site or use line direction because I have a SIP circuit, and it will not allow them. Has anyone had any experience with this ?

Feature 4 then intercom ???
As soon as you press intercom it disables the F4 you just pressed.

Sorry guys, I know all that. Telecom engineer says any tying of trunks together will not w0rk on a SIP trunk. Except if OLI is disabled and all trunks are set (by them) to put out BTN. Since I have 11 devices (fax and some odd stuff)putting out their OLI, this is not an option. Customer not happy that they cannot forward their DID's.

I am not following you here. You said you have a SIP trunk, but your original post says PRI..which is it?

I am having similar trouble. We installed a PRI with DID numbers this week. System is a BCM 400, 4.0.
Telco (Windstream, former GTE exchange)told me a similar story, Terry. Surely we aren't the first people to want to forward calls with a PRI?
Hope you get a solution soon Terry. Jim

not sure why you guys are having issues. If its a PRI, then it should not be an issue. You aren't really forwarding the call as much as you are doing a trunk to trunk transfer, so the PRI really only sees the call come in on one channel and another call go out on another channel. the BCM is handling the rest of the call features. The only issue i have really seen with certain CLEC PRI setups is for some reason, they can't call themselves. In other words, someone in the office can't call in too the office using an outside line...
