Hi!
I have a nortel 7310 phone system in my office. I am trying to install plantronics cs55 headsets for my staff. The headset works perfectly with the phone in my office, but when I install it the same way on my staff phones, there is no dial tone.
I am thinking it is a setting associated with how their phones pick up calls.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

What's different with these other phones? Do they have Handsfree enabled? Is there dial tone when you press a line or intercom button? Are they the same type of phones?
Give us as much info as possible.

Make sure that the headset is plugged into the handset port on the phone, and not the headset port. There will be a port on the base unit of the headset that you then plug your handset into.
