OK guys dont have the system in front of me but on a CICS do the tails need male or female amp connectors to plug into the system. I cant believe I cant think of this. Thanks in advance

All switch tails are Female, never seen a Male switch tail

TIE used 1 sex for the CO connections and the other sex for STATION connections. I don't recall any more which was which, they've only been out of business for 15+ (?) years.

Yeah, I know, Nitsuko bought TIE, mainly because TIE was a major customer for their manufacturing capabilities. Look at the Meritor, bizcom, etc PCB's and you'll find Nitsuko all over them. AND then NEC bought Nitsuko!

That is why when ordering amp cables order m/f for the cable type. Order the cable twice the length
you need then cut it in half, and now you have the best of both worlds.
