I would like to build a vmail box which tranfers fax to a fax server. Can anyone provide the steps?

Why is the fax passing through the phone system? If the line is being used for both voice & fax, why not install a fax switch before the system?

Here is the current setup phantom dn pointed to mail then somehow mail ships the fax to the server.
On a working dn you hear a fax tone on a non working dn you "your session cannot be completed" and ships you to the operator.
I understand there is a step missing.

Make sure that the Mailbox Class is FaxDesktop,

It is a desktop mailbox but still cannot get through.

for example
x6000fax mailbox claas
sdn x 6000
App id start to express fax x6000

I also built one with a schedule.

Copied other working fax. Seems like I am missing a step

I don't know what you are trying to do with the SDN, but this is the way mine are built.

DID number 6666, go to LD 49 IDC table convert it to 736666, Then you build a Phantom DN which is DCFW to the Call Pilot DN.

In Call Pilot you build the mailbox with both 6666 and 736666 in it, when the call comes in Call Pilot can detect if it is a FAX or a Voice call.
