Apparently this alarm started happening every 30 minutes or so and customer cannot receive calls until they clear it from x221. I went on site looked in Maintenance in telset programming and it has happened 136 times in the log! Any ideas? To make matters worse when I tried to access the OAM port with my laptop the default username and password would not work. When I installed it I did all my programming from the phone as the codes were all loaded.

If I found the right list, it says your system is over heating. Are your fans working? Is the room too hot? Does it need cleaned out - too much dirt covering components ? Need to blow a BIG fan on the system ?
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

Room is not too hot - in a basement. Sounds like my first step should be to open it up. Is their one fan and is it obvious? Any ideas on my other dilemna about the OAM port password.

OEM port - What is the software version?
There are two lights on the front of the BCM-50. Are they red or green?
If older software, if red light, you probably will not connect. VM may not work either.
New software, Does VM work? Yes, Not sure why it won't connect. Sure your Caps Lock wasn't on? Did you change the password and forgot?

Release 2 software. One LED red and one green. VM works fine and checked it with Caps and without. I never did access this BCM thru an ethernet connection so password not changed; only Telset programming. Its a small system with 6 phones. Is the Alrm 11406 a patch issue? How do you reset password on OAM port?
