I had a customer request to have two phones changed from a key having SCN 260 to SCR 252. SCR 252 was also added to a third extension on a free key. After making the change, it works but the call can be picked up by all extensions like a conference call. I need the first party to pick up to have privacy on the call, as well as the MARP extension.

I am also stumped by one extension on this system that cannot pass DTMF after the initial call is made (i.e. can't navigate an AA or banking system).

Any help is appreciated!

You also have a 2500 port programmed with the same DN. That removed privacy.

The one station that can't DTMF should hit the # sign after the call is answered to initiate end to end signalling.

Make the keys MCR and the lines will ring all phones but will be answered by only 1 freeing up the other appearances.

Or check for POA in the CLS of the phones that are barging in on calls, if its there make it POD.

Thanks for the replies! RBF - There was a 2500 set in the mix, so that fixed all but the MARP extension. He can still barge in. I will check the POA setting and/or use MCR. Any other suggestions on the DTMF after dialing? I seem to recall this was a CLS setting as well but nothing in the manual jumped out at me. No other extension has this issue. Thanks again for the help!

The extension that can't pass DTMF, is it a digital station or analog?

Sorry for the delay, Justin!

Its a digital 2616, just like many others, but they all can pass DTMF after the initial dial and connect.
