I have client that wanted calls that ring a few times to be picked up and immediately placed on hold. I used the Cics's internal AA for this (no ccr). It works well.
They let me know after all was done that they have a line they want excluded. I think AA is all public lines so I changed line 4 to private:ext22. This works but now the real issue occurs. They want to get to the private line from anywhere. I am not sure the best technique for this. Any thoughts?
They don't want to transfer as the office is small and they just yell what line to pick up. I looked at directed call pickup but that doesn't work with private.
Thank you

Private is actually that...PRIVATE to one extension only. Change it back to public and tell AA not to answer. They'll have to answer manually.

Thank you. I was trying to find where to do the internal AA line off/on. Couldn't find it anywhere so I assumed it was not doable. I know CCR has this programming. Is there place to program AA lines on or off?
Thanks, Jon
