first of all, let me get this out in the open. i am not asking for password info. i need support on password recovery.our customer's pbx login has been compromised and we can no longer login. i am willing to pay for it and have even called avaya support and they keep jacking me around.what is involved? meanwhile my customers's needs are suffering and they are growing impatient as is expected. this is a national account and i dont want to lose them as a customer. dont know the security id or release of software but could easily get it when i do a sysload or reboot and watch the tty.i am certified on the option 11c - 81c but my company is smaller and is not an avaya partner. any help would be appreciative.

If your willing to pay then call an authorized vendor.

You should always have a relation with an authorized vendor to assist you and generate/retrieve key codes etc.

Have them place a ticket for you but get the info and modem # first.

You obviously did not either, you mentioned you called Avaya only, no mention of calling vendors.
Avaya will only help authorized vendors.

With your attitude maybe that's why vendors wont help you either.
