For eight years my CallPilot has had the same configuration. All of the sudden, when anyone calls on any of the three lines coming into my office, rather than getting one of my two company's greetings, the call is immediately routed to one employee's VM box (and on the first ring).
Here is my configuration: 4 Lines Lines 1 & 2 (Company A - CCR Tree 1) Line 3 (Fax) Line 4 (Company B - CCR Tree 2)
In attempting to troubleshoot this problem, I have unplugged both the phone systems and voicemail for a few minutes. I have also logged in and set all of my lines to Not answered. Despite this, the CallPilot VM is still picking up on the first ring.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I have a system backup, but it is years old and I would prefer to not lose all of my existing voicemails.

Check that one employee's config. Sounds like he/she has line appearances and set Call Forward (F4) to the VM's DN.

Thank you for the quick reply. I tried to implement your solution via the web management interface for the Call Pilot, but I am not seeing any mention of the VM's DN.
When I was going through the settings again, I noticed under operator settings the following:
Under Operator Setting Attendant available - checked Business Open - checked answer lines- checked Attendant - 221
Even after unchecking these options, and setting "Answer mode" to "No," the system kept picking up.
Also, I went to the voice mailbox for the employee who's voice mail is intercepting all of the calls and here are the settings:
General Delivery Mailbox 100
Extension 221 Class of Service 1 Display in directory - checked Enable Message Waiting - checked Spoke Name - recorded Outdial type - None Alt Ext 1 - blank Alt Ext 2 - blank Express Messaging Line - Blank
If the problem is with the phones and not the voice mail, I'm going to need some step by step help since I have never used the phones to configure the system.
Thanks again.

Step 1: Go on site Step 2: Find offending extension Step 3: LOOK at the display Step 4: If it says "FORWARD>XXXX" Step 5: Press the "Cancel" softkey if you also see "Cancel" on display, or Step 6: Press "Feature", Press "#", Press 4

Have you considered taking the hunt on a no answer condition off that phone to see what happens?
Then looking at another phone that is working fine that hunts on a no answer to see how many rings it has before going to the mailbox?
