To the gurus I have to ask a question. I have been looking for the answer and can't find it.

Equipment:
MICS 7.0
DuVoice Voicemail

Current Setup:

Voicemail is on DNS 5298-5301 set to roll over
Four main DID Lines are assigned to 5298.

We have never had a receptionist before all phones have extensions and their own voicemail boxes.

So when a call come in on one of the main numbers it tries 5298 (if busy, goes to next one). Auto Attendant Answers call.

What we want to do is make one of the secretaries an attendant answering all incoming calls on the main numbers. If she does not answer then it should go to auto attendant.

However, still want her to have her own mailbox.

Is this possible?

I know I could but the 4 main lines in a hunt group, make her and voicemail a member and put the hunt group on her phone, but that would not allow her to answer more than one call at a time. I can not find a way to make this happen.

I am pretty familiar with programming the system and do adds and moves, etc using a FastRAD.

I am just not finding the answer to this one.

Un assign lines from 5298
Re-assign to reception.
Set the Prime Set for those lines as 5298
Set the DRT timer to less then the 6 rings.
Forward No Answer reception to 5XXX at 6 rings
CFNA at reception is set to 6 rings in case they need a mailbox.


Calls will come into reception, they then DRT to the prime set 5298 (DuVoice) at your DRT timer setting.
