CP-100 40 MB. MICS 7.1. Call Pilot is taking messages or allowing retrieval intermittently.After taking a message (or retrieval) the first port will refuse to do anything, the extension number does go off hook. At this time a second call will work, second extension goes busy. After three or four minutes the first port will work again. Then jams up again on the next action. Lots of minutes left in system. And extensions work OK with phones. Second question. Is there anyway of clearing the log file ? I don't need to know what happened in 2007.

Power down and power up is always the first thing to do.

Are you using a laptop? You can go in and delete and change most anything. I would do that before sending it in for repair.

Watching the boot up sequence via serial cable/laptop can maybe tell a story.

Check Maintenance/port status on KSU to make sure all 4 channels are connected.

Replacing the power supply solves a lot of problems, too.
