I have to hack an 8/24, DR5.1 (lost password). The oldset version of NRU I own is 9.0. I had 10.0 with me on the service call and could not get in to the 8/24 (was able to reach the FastRad, but received error message indicating browser function isn't supported with 8/24). Searched around the Nortel/Avaya site a little, but didn't find anything.

So...anyone?

I do not think that your version is the problem. You probably need the OLDER RAD unit. The one that is twice as wide as the FastRAD.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is correct.

Hmm...it connected and allowed me to use the "remote set tool" function (the replica of the M7310/T7316). But that's not going to get me anywhere without the password. When I click on the "run browser tool" icon, it says not supported in 8x24...

You need Norstar Manager 3.5 (or 3.7 for XP) for 8X24.
This is the previous version of NRU.

NM and NRU can only run using XP mode virtual software when running Win 7.

Even so I dont think that trick will help on the old 8X24's but you could try.

DEBUG or system STARTUP is your best bet.

I did see the download for Norstar Manager, but wasn't sure what it was for.

Thanks!

Debug and using address 1C0B2C for DR5.1 as curlycord mentioned should get you in if you have no access to RAD
