I lost a MICS station module over the weekend. I have cp ports 3 and 4 on this module. CP is in a continuous reboot. When I setup procomm plus, i see the information spitting out of the call pilot. I suspect it will not completely boot up because it is looking for ports 3 and 4. What is the best way to disable these ports so that the CP will work on 2 ports until I get the station module replaced? I checked, I do have a new 8V power supply. Tj

You cannot disable CP ports.
Can you provide more info such as posting the hyper read out or the light status indicators in detail?.

if you lost a station module, wouldn't you just replace it? If not then change your voice mail to 2 ports on another station module

I recommend installing a Flash or Call Pilot on the main chassis, not on modules.

I am 110% agreement with Dave...
And from the sounds of it..you have the ports split on different modules? Thats not a good idea either..

moved the remaining 2 vm ports onto the main chassis. when I go into the programming, I see all 4 ports with startalk displayed on both the B1 and B2 channels. I plugged a phone into each of these vm ports and Feature *0 each and it came up with correct ext number. I tried the **xftest and removed the 9XX features but I might off gotten carried away with this and even removed the 9*1 which I think was a mistake. I wound up restoring the data base from a backup that I did 2 weeks ago in case the database was corupt. When I plug in the procomm plus, I see the system recognizing the 4 channels and it tells me that it is ready but all my feature codes state feature inactive. I dont see a green light on the right side of the CP which i am expecting. anything else that I should try before replacing the CP150. This system was working fine for the last 2 years with the current setup.

The CP port one is damaged or your software is corupt. A CP will function on only the 1st port connected, but it won't work without the first port.

I am suspecting that you are right about CP port one since it is was originally using DN300 and when I test DN300 with a phone, it works. I have some star flash units laying around, can I use these as a temporary solution while I get the cp repaired. my vendor doesn't have any 150's in stock, they want me to substitute a cp100. I will have to hand load the cp100 I assume, might as well hand load the star flash.
