CallPilot failover?
If a Callpilot is set to auto answer loop start trunk lines, and the CP fails.... can a Norstar Plus system somehow still answer the call so it does not ring forever?

If it's totally "down" meaning "Out of Service", Yes, as long as someone physically picks up the handset and says "Hello". If it's just the "AA" or "CCR" that's down, then maybe if someone's phone that rings on that line has CFNA set up, then it'll go to THAT mailbox. Then if the caller presses *, it might go to CCR.
Scientists say that the universe is made up of Protons, Neutron & Electrons. They forgot "Morons". Dave. (CTUB) Canadian Techs Use Bix!

If you have a set programmed as the prime set for that line, and have it ring after 3 rings if your AA picks up after 2, then yes.
I always create a ring service called "outage" and assign it to a clearly identified button on the attendant's phone or whoever is associated with "0" or the admin; and make sure they know where it is and what it's for. First: activate, then call us!
Yes, I'm a frenchie; have a problem with that?? Well, I do!!
