0x32 XC with CP100 ver 3.1
Calls are answered by a CCR tree. Many callers know that if they press 0 enough, it will take them to the attendant. Can I change the 0 to reach the operator, to another number, as long as its free in my CCR tree?
The customer still wants access to the attendant, but doesn't want it too simple. They want to force callers to listen to all the choices first. At the end of the home menu they would hear "for the operator, press 8."
I've never used Customized Digits under AA. Would that help? Is there a better way to do this?
Thank you. Jim

I did more research and I think I'll do this:
Remove the operator's extension, Set the menu repeat to 0, then re-record the ccr home menu to say "for the operator press [op's dn #]" as the last sentence.

Good idea
On Older vmails I used to disable Atdnt by using 000 as the DN in Table and use path 8 for Adnt as well when/if needed.
I gather with CP these days leaving adnt blank via GUI does the same. Using 0 as repeat is good idea with CP.

Not sure if this is true on CP, but on BCM the pressing of 0 in the auto-attendant will first look at the attendant extension in the greeting table that processed the call. If this is left blank, it will then go to the operator extension in the operator settings field. If this is blank, it will go to the GEN_DEV mbox.
Good call to use 0 as repeat key.

I can't take credit for using 0 as the repeat key. I read it here after searching for info on the topic. Sorry, can't recall who said it, but it was on Sundance.

I think you can do it by setting operator to vm port on feature 985, my suggestion however is not to do it, it will have customers hanging up n calling someone else, deal with them pressing 0 n getting a live person
