We want to start receiving 7 digits on our PRI's currently we are only looking at 4.

I changed LDN0 from 4 digits to 7 digits

of course people dial the 4 digit number to reach our reception, so I created a ACD dn for it and set NCFW to the new 7 digit number. All worked great.

Until...

Some people forward their phone to our reception desk. They forward to the 4 digit number.

Now if they have a 3904 set the forward works, but those that have a 2616 set can not, they just get a fast busy when they try to set the forward.

If I try to set the forward through the terminal I get error sch5199, Invalid DN. I get the same error if i set it to the new 7 digit LDN0.

Don't know where to go with this one.

Have you tried building the 4 digit # as a phantom 500 port with dcfw defined as the 7 digit # instead of an acdn with ncfw?

What I ended up doing was adding the 4 digit and 7 digit numbers as LDN's. That worked.

Still, why would a 3904 phone work and a 2616 not?
