I have some phones that the speaker function wont work. Its not the phone, its not the D-EC card. I move the phone to another location that is working and it works fine. It is v43223 telephone with speakerphone capability. Please help

Wayne, I'm not up on the DBS side but if your sure the phone is good that only leaves system hardware and programming. I've never seen programming issues cause the speaker phone not to work but I have heard of it with other systems. I suggest you shut that system down and swap the D-EC card and see where the problem follows, the port or the card. By any chance does this system need to be told what type of set is on each port?

It's probably in headset mode. I think the code to disable it is #50 or something like that. I don't have my manual with me, but you check yours.
