We have a customer who thinks her phone's (KX-T 7030) speaker phone quit working as of the last programming change. Is there any program that might have been entered and disabled her speakerphone? Thanks.

You need to clarify a few things with her.
I doubt if the speakerphone quit working but I suppose it's possible.
She is more likely referring to intercom calls.
If it's an old 6-16 then field 22 will set the
"intercom alerting mode" to either tone or voice. I'm not sure if the "auto answer" key on the KXT 7030 will function on the older models.
She may mean the the speakerphone button goes off hook on intercom now rather then a CO line.
When she says that the speakerphone isn't working we really don't know what she means until you call her and clarify it.

Of course, you're right. Unfortunately, I am unable to communicate with this hotel owner in her native tongue, but I believe she says that everything else works normally but she is unable to use the speakerphone. Thanks again.

She may have enabled headset mode. I forgot the procedure to cancel that, but look in the user guide. I think it's Program 99, 91 or something like that.

try looking at the back of the phone where the headset/handset switch is. one of my guys did this same thing by mistake last week. put it back to handset and you should have no problem
