have any of you panasonic certified guys been to the 3 day class for these new systems, if so does it program much different than the kxtd what about the software is it much different. Thanks for your help guys.

Slim, I haven't been yet, trying to get setup
for the end of Feb. or mid March.
I'm showing it to be 4 days.
I've heard it's not bad but we'll see.

I installed a kxtda in my office. works fine except for a few things that i didn't sort out yet, like executive override. can anyone help please?

There are many changes in the KX-TD and KX-TDA and unfortunatly I must say many are not good. To answer your exec overide question you need to press the CO line button and dial 3 on the TDA you cannot just press the CO button like on the TD.

Some other problems we have found are:

Caller ID information really stinks.

First off you can log answered and unanswered calls at each station. Sounds great until you relize the system does not log calls that intercept or call forward No Answer. This means if yo forward your incoming calls to voice mail you don't get a record of it on the display.

Second. If you are set up to receive calls on multiple lines, the caller ID does not provide you with what line the call came in on.

Third. There is no way to clear all records (clear all) from the log. This means you have to delete each one seperatly.
