Our tech has plugged the MOH device into the moh port on the D1232 system, but now the MOH is playing on all of the phone intercoms. Is there a feature code to turn off the intercoms?

Try ressing your BGM button which would be S3, or try pressing [1], depending on what sets you are using.

dtmf, you are correct sir! you can also press "1" on any set to toggle it on and off.
The TD1232 also supports 2 inputs so if you wanted a different sorce for background music then what is used for music or message on hold you can do that.

Wow how much the U.S models differ to the AUS models. You have to press the hold button to switch bgm on and off on 1232s that i work on.
