Has anyone had any difficulties getting the TVS50 to auto configure for DPT w/the -848 PBX? HyperTerminal tells me the auto-configuration has been aborted because the "VPS is unable to connect to the PBX." I've checked cables, DIP switch settings, enabled the port to be a vox mail port, etc. I've tried configuring both a PLT and hybrid card for the TVS50. The only thing I can possibly imagine, outside of hardware issues, is that the -848 has early software where such configuration wasn't possible.

Anyone have any additional thoughts or encountered a similar problem? And does anyone know where I might find such a software update for the PBX?

Paul, it can be a bit tricky on the TAWs.
I checked my upgrade list for all the systems and as of June/ 2004 I see no upgrades offered for the TAW at all.
I don't think that's your problem though as you will see.
