How can we simply prod the 624-4 with CID to ignore, disconnect, or put caller into a dead end mailbox when they call with the Private status? This comes through with no number associated, just "Private" in the name section. We have the 624-4 version with the TVS-50 answering machine.
Thanks in advance, Mike

PQ, as of yet there is no way to route or block "private" or "not available" calls with the switch. I believe some CO providers, SBC maybe, do offer a service that will do this.

Thanks in advance, Mike</font> The best route to achieve this is Anonymous Call Rejection, a service of the Telco. That works great and forces the called to reveal his number. There is no program trick to do this through the 624 programming. Al ------------------ Let All Things Be Done Decently and In Order.

Thanks in advance, Mike</font> Oh yeah, one more thing. If Anonymous Call Rejection is used, an audible from the telco switch will indicate to the caller that this is in play. If they do not disable the block on their number when they call back, they are rejected! ------------------ Let All Things Be Done Decently and In Order.
