Our office have a KX-TD1232 PBX without voice mail processer.

We have two telephone lines hook up to the PBX as CO1 and CO2.

When any customer call our office's phone number. Everybody's extension all are ringing in the same time until one of us pick up the phone.

My boss say he don't like to hear his phone ring for the CO1 or CO2. He want to turn off the ring tone for CO1 and CO2. But he still want to keep the intercom call ring tone. In case any other extension want to give him a call.

Can anybody tell me how can I turn off the CO1 and CO2 ring tone? Thanks!!

go into programs 603 day and 604 night, DIL-1N
set each port the way you want it.

first find what the jack no:is
go to the phone you dont want to ring
leave the hanset down
press the programe button then dial 99 dial 6 display should saysomething like ext :206 jack: 06

keep this handy

to enter prog mode (on main phone ie ext 201 )press the programe button then type (Edited by moderator) the display should say (enter prog no
1. type (603 for day or 604 for night).
Display example: DIL 1:N Asn Day
2. Press speaker phone.
Display: Jack NO?–> ( = last 2 digits of ext no: ie ext 201 = jack 01
3. Enter a jack number.

after entering a jack
number.
Display example: #01-1:CO01:Immdt
4. press *( this will prog all lines at same time)


5. Keep pressing autoanswer/mute button until the desired selection is
displayed.( ie immdt 2 4 6 or 8 rings or no ring or disable ((if you pick disable this phone cannot pickup a ringing out side line) so i would set to noring.
6. Press autodial/STORE button.
7. To program another jack, press speaker phone button then enter new jack no:

Peter, board rules, no passwords, evan defaults on the open board.
As this is getting into the main programming, I suggest that you and alexleau
work by e mail.
Keep in mind this is the US version, port 1 is 101 if flexable numbering is not used.
Either way if you go off of PORT 1 you should be OK.
