I understand that MSG Waiting is a telephone msg function and that vm msg waiting (for me a TVS-50 and a TVS200) is another function.

A MSG button is set up on the phone but I am missing the step to trigger vm msg waiting indication.

Suggestions?
Thanks,
mwm

You can use the MWL as a feature of the phone system without having a voicemail system.
If you have a voice mail system you need to have a mailbox associated with the extension you want the MWL to light on. You also need to tell the TVS to light the MWL when new messages are received.
It would help to have a few more specifics.
What system and what model voicemail?
Also would you please complete your profile.
Thanks, Gem

Is it on all the sets that the MWL won't light or just one mailbox?
It could be in the COS settings of the TVS.

Got the mail, thanks I will try logging in with Hyperterminal, one quick question in the event that the password has been changed and I do not have the password, is there a way to access the VM system?
