If I'm not going to hang another handset off the KX-T7633, can I get away with just one pair off the TDA-50 to pins 4&5 of an RJ-11?

the only phones on all of pana eqt requiring 4 wires is the analog series going onto digital system. if you want to use the xdp port then of course the 2nd pair is needed.
