I have swithed lines around on phone system co ports and teh problem is following the lines!!!!
Had a meeting with sbc today and they said they are having no trouble on the lines and it is copper all the way to Equipment!
Tested and there is no problem what so ever!!!!
They also said it was not there problem because the lines are not all on the same equipment in the c.o. so it is impossible and that it has not happened to anybody else on the cable!!!
So i guess the only thing i can do for the customer is to replace the co card in the system?!!!??? and see what happens!!
I asked sbc to change the lines that we are having problems on and they said they wont until they know its there problem!!!Typical of sbc!!!!
What to do ????

You didn't mention he version # or how old this system is. Is it in a well ventilated area?
It is possible that the IC in the system is breaking down for these CO lines but most of the time it is in the LECs equipment or lines.
What I would do is move these lines, 6,7 &8 to positions 1 ,2 & 3 on the system. You can adjust the programming if you want but for a week or so I would just leave it. see if the problem follows the CO lines or the CO [b]ports
Dealing with the provider can always be a problem but you have to be persistent.
A good Tech. will sweep the lines, check loop current and a few other simple tests.
To your knowledge are these pots lines?
It's possible that the LEC is using pairgain or running through a slick.
It almost sounds as though a card in the field is going bad that all of these lines are running through.
Do the swap 1st and see where the problem is and go from there.
