Have a panasonic DBS-824 phone system that keeps posting voice mails late to individual mail boxes. For instance, one voice mail was cleared at 1:00pm and at 3:00pm 19 messages posted to it that had time stamps of 8:00am to a little after noon. Those 19 messages should have been in the voice mail when it was checked at 1:00pm. Any ideas?

You did not mention what VMail you had. But generally when I have had that problem, it was time for a DEFRAG, SCANDISK as well. maybe give it words of encouragement might be helpful too.

once again theres that defrag the harddrive for late messages. with the type of voice mails we work on (standalone dos mchines) defrag causes the problem more times than not. i would never recommend defraging a hard drive on a dos voice mail

well defrag really means wipe it and resetup
once you get used to it can be done in 5 mins only have to record the prompts then and with the new panasonic you can save them two. i also work on (standalone dos mchines)
with the telrad systems & find that when they go wrong they go wrong & take up far too much space .give me panasonic any day
