Hello,
This forum has been very helpful, but I have a question I haven't seen asked yet...
Is it possible to allow a caller who has been dropped in to a TVS50 from a KXTD816 to transfer out of voicemail to a mobile phone?
We have Vonage VOIP, so we would do it with their transfer sequence of #90, the number to transfer the call to, and then # to release the call.
I am guessing if this is possible, I will need to change all my subscribers from voicemail boxes to custom menus. Then I would pick something like the number 6 as the default to transfer the caller to the predetermined mobile phone number.
Thanks!

yes if you are using a panasonic kxtd system you could also use the xdp feature and set it to 710690(no:#)then when you want your ext calls to go to mobile just forward your phone to to the xdp....this way when your ext is rang it will go to your mailbox but if on forward it will go to your mobile (...best of both worlds ...)

I do like the XDP idea... I am using a KXTD.
But I think at this point I would prefer not to get every call on my mobile, and instead give the caller the option to "transfer" or leave me a voicemail.
So how would I do it with the voicemail option such as "press 9 to be transfered to my mobile, otherwise wait for the tone and leave a message".

set up the XDP as Peter said but don't forward your phone. Set up alternate transfer in your mailbox to the XDP ext.

I just realized a snag... I think...
The two mailboxes I want to set up with x-fer to mobile are phantom extensions... which is the reason I want to have the ability for calls to x-fer to the persons mobile.

Make the XDP the Zero destination in mailbox setup, that way they have option to hear messagwe and leave message or dial Zero and be sent to Mobil number.

dvdct, would you be so kind as to complete your profile for us? What is your thought in using phantom extensions? For every extension you want to forward to a cell or give the option to leave a message activate the XDP. If your the end user and not familiar with the MDF and the pair counts on a 66 or 110 block and do not want to use a buttset to forward the XDP extensions then all you need to do is plug a SLT into the XDP port of each extension and foeward it to the cell. This way you have controll, you can forward your pits set to the XDP if wanted and set up the alternate extension tranfer sequence in your mailbox to transfer to the XDP extension for that phone which in turn send the call to your cell.

only way phantom ext fwd is if the vm handles the call (supervised) if software level supports it, caller zero out to fwd ext or #8xxx to fwd ext.

Hi MrGemini: The phantom extensions were set up because we don't have a 1:1 phone ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/tongue.gif) erson ratio. The people I want to have the ability to set up a "Transfer to Mobile Phone" are the people who are always out of the office. The same people who don't have their own phones at the office. Right now all calls are answered by the TVS50 AA. So it does look like the incoming calls can be supervised the TVS50 if that helps at all.
