As the in house Telecom guy, I have the responsiblity of installing one of these at one of our warehouses. I will have no time to look at this system before I put it in, because it is on site, which is three states away. I've been in the trade 8 yrs, but have really only work with Rolm PBX's. The physical connections don't worry me, but the programing does. Does this system program through the main phone like some of the small systems do, also does this system come with an operating default. Someone with my limited experience be O.K. installing this?

they are not completely plug and play systems. do you have a manual? this system was meant for the non certified user to install. many homeowners install them. the system is modular so that part is a piece of cake. you have moh and paging ports as well.
it is easily programmed if it has the manual. if it is new in box then it has one. let us know if you need more help.
additionally if you don't want to go 3 states away i can assist you with getting an installer or you can post where it is going and one of us should be able to help.
something this easy normally just takes 2-3 hours to setup from scratch. even maxed out. a couple more hours if you have voicemail.

I WAS TOLD IT HAS A MANUAL. DOES THIS SYSTEM PROGRAM THROUGH THE MAIN PHONE OR ANY PHONE? WHEN YOU SAID ITS MODULAR, DO YOU MEAN THE LINES AND STATIONS JUST PLUG INTO THE EQUIP?

yes the lines and stations can be crimped to RJ11 plugs and go directly into the ports.
