I'm very new to phone admin duty. We have a KXTDA-100 system and I've been asked to add a new extension. Thus far I've been able to get everything except the DID bit working... Even after setting up an extension, putting in the employee name and assigning a DID number via the maintenance console I still cannot call the number from an outside line.

I've been looking for some sort of document on the Maintenance console since I'm certain that this is where I will solve the problem from, but have had no luck. Panasonic tells me to talk to my vendor, my vendor just gives me funny looks and says "use option two".

Any thoughts here? Maybe some nice person can point me to a useful .pdf or something?

Oh, and I'm in California.

thanks.

Hi Sandeep,
Please look at the date of the post. It is over 2 years old. This has been long resolved I am certain.
