Can anyone tell me what Panasonic means by "Advanced Hybrid pbx phone system" Does the Hybrid mean it using an electric motor like with the new Lexus RX 430 Hybrid which I'm thinking about getting to save on gas? https://www.lexus.com/models/rx_hybrid/index.html Or does it mean its a digital/IP-phone hybrid like some of the Nitsuko/NEC products? OR does it mean its a using Analog panasonic phones with the function of a PBX system? Please advice.

Marketing. Uses the wireless celluar system, only Pan analog system to do so. So it's advanced. Great little system. I had heard that some of the female installers had asked engineering for a electric vibrator in the handset. Don't know much about that but maybe thats what you heard.

The older Panasonics were called Hybrids because you could use the key phone or SLT on the same port. The advance must be the wireless like brokeda said
