I have 3 customers all with 624's.
All 624's were installed within the past 3 years.
They are all in the same Ma-Bell exhange.
They all have the same common problem.
Problem : Incoming calls are answered, while in conversation,the receptionists loose customers for a short while(looses battery on receiver can't hear callers)and then the customer comes back after a couple of seconds sometimes or is totally disconnected.
What is common to all is Ma-Bell. But I'm thinking Ma-Bell is not the problem. There must be an option on the 624.

1st.= 624-3 has all 7030 phones
2nd.= 624-3 has all 7030 phones
3rd.= 624-4 has a combo of 7030's & 7730's.
Has anyone had the same problem? ....I thank you for any help....

Had simular problem with a customer last week that has KX-TA1232. I switched out ksu with older KX-T123211 and still have problem. Verizon now says its the 800 carrier.

I have many 624s in various SBC and Sprint exchanges and have not had this problem. Some are the older rev.s but not that problem.

Can you duplicate the problem or is it random?

Parallel a slp and when that happens have them grab it. See if it is the set that way.

Try identifying the CO line or is it all?

If the provider is using a DMS switch, they have a regular problem with line cards and fiber interconnects in the bays.

Good luck,

KLD
