Hi,I recently took over a client that has a Panasonic KXTD-1232.It's at a ski resort and they have a phone at the bottom of the hill that they want to use as a ring down to the operator.The phone is an slt.Can someone tell me in the programming how to set this up as a "ringdown or hotline" phone.I have the manuals.Thanks

I would make certain that there are no out going CO lines assigned to this extension in program fields 605 & 606 and also that all incoming CO ringing is disabled in 603 & 604. In your user manual check out sec. 4.2,page 4-119 The feature codes are not secret but some people have a tendency to "play" with systems so if you need step by step instructions, I'll e mail them to you but it is self explanatory if you have the manual. I think pickup dialing would do what you want Unless the codes have changed the pickup code should be 74 +(1=set,0=cancel,2=assign) + number(0) + #
