hi all
I have a TDA with quality issue system was installed for 1 week no problems then the users started complaining about the voice quality I spoke to the line provider and under test they tell me there is a buffer overflow every 400ms they also said this is normally caused by the system (TDA 200) not taking its timing from the PRI line I have checked everything and all seems ok how ever when I remove the TDA from the line the overflow stops. Have ordered a new line card will get it Monday but just wondering if anyone has seen this before

I am not a Panasonic tech but I have seen other systems have voice quality problems when the system has clocking issues on T1 or PRI . Such as static , crackling , breaking up and dropped calls . Once the source that was causing slips and framing loses was corrected the voice quality problems disappeared . Most of the time the problem was with our equipment and not the local provider .

If you had an old td with a pri card
you could slave it in in the meanwhile
to see if it happens again you'd at least
know if it was a tda issue.
