I was recently rifling throuh some old boxes of mine and found an old panasonic easa phone cordless.
The phone hadn't been used in a long time so I threw it on the charger for a day. I imagine rechargeable batteries arent't supposed to keep a charge after a decade ?
When it didn't take a charge I popped the cover off and noticed that I had accidently pulled the ground wire off of one of the 3 clips that make contact with the cradle. The red wire from the phones board luckily didn't snap off.
The first plate has a orange wire , second a brown and third black. I suppose the black wire from the battery needs to be soldered to the third one?
I also noticed that almost all the replacement batteries online have a plug , with this phone its just two wires. What are my options ?
Any help would be great. The phone is in great shape and I'd love to get the old girl up and running again .
cheers
