The red or (blue/white) wire goes to the bottom-left terminal marked "L2". The green or (white/blue) wire goes to the terminal third from the left marked "L1". No other wires from the wall to the phone are required for it to operate.
To remove the dial wheel, look right above the hole for the zero (operator) digit in the ring that creates a center circle. There is a tiny hole there. Straighten a paper clip and insert it into this hole. Using the paper clip, turn the wheel as far as it will go clockwise. When it stops, push the paper clip straight downward; you will feel it click. Continue to turn the wheel clockwise by hand and it will pop loose.
To return the wheel to normal, line it up in about the same position you removed it (about one digit -off), line it up with the cams, then turn it counter-clockwise until it clicks back into place.

Is this place a wealth of information or what? I'll bet that you will be able to receive assistance on a sprinkler system repair here as well. This site is unbelievable. Glad to assist. Enjoy the soda fountain-themed basement. Oh, and welcome aboard to the forum.

And your address is...........? Just in case one of the other 13000 (?) members here happen to come thru Kenosha. After all, we need to evaluate your soda-making abilities! WELCOME! John C.
