Hello, I am in the process of reviewing several software packages that we might want to purchase to run our interconnect business on. If you have strong feelings for OR against any specific software, please email me your likes or dislikes. I appreciate any input you can give me. Donna

Welcome to the board Donna. Once you get up and running, let me know if there is anything I can assist you with here in Dallas.

Hello DnR In what area can you assist me? Are you another interconnect or a "board manager"? Thanks for the reply. <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by DnRComm: Welcome to the board Donna. Donna What software are you looking at? What do you want it to do for ya? What kinda interconnect you running? (sales, service, repair, consulting etc.) Tell us a little bit about what your trying to achieve with the software program. ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif) added: Moderators are folks who are in the Phone biz in one aspect or another and they keep the forum running smoothly. Thank you. I am looking at 2 software packages (but have 3 others on the sideline. Tigerpaw for running the office w/QB acct VS S2 out of Waco, a complete interconnect package. Are there any others I should see? What are you using? Satisfied? Want Marketing, sales, inventory control w/serial number maintenance, work/service orders, complete accounting (A/R,A/P, G/L, Financial) that is all in one. Thanks! <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by test-ok: Donna What software are you looking at? What do you want it to do for ya? What kinda interconnect you running? Hey, thanks for the reply. So what software do you run your business on? Any comments on the performance? Thanks again, Donna <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by DnRComm: I run a Telecommunications Company in DFW. We do Voice and Data Cabling. We use Ouick books, and UPS on-line it takes care of anything we've ever needed. I didn't know there was software made specifically for the Interconnect market.

Donna, This is a very good forum and I've gotten great help here. Having said that Virtual Dr. is a computer forum and they have a catagory for general and business software, so if the good folks here can't give you what your looking for you may want to try them, I usually just search there post and find what I need. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Bill

Cool... we use QB now but atticipate a major growth and need something to facilitate our needs for the future. The one that has really caught my eye that is specifically for interconnect companies is S2 Softwares located in Waco. I am hoping we will go with this one but want to make sure I have checked all avenues before jumping in with both feet. Check them out if you like, this is the guy I'm dealing with Scott Gast [ [email protected]] Good luck and thanks for your reply.
