I have a customer with one extension not transfering to VM box. It can be transfered by the receptionist but not by ring no answer or station busy. The calls get tranfered to the general mail box. I know I need to tell the system a code to send it to VM, but I can not find any code anywhere!!!!???

Assuming a DBS 40/72/96, from a key set:PROG, AUTO, *, extension number, vm id string, HOLD.

That's the code I need to find (vm id string) so if anybody can tell me that, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.

It shouldn't be to hard to figure out. Call the VM pilot# directly and start dialing #+EXT no, *+ext, 9+,8+, etc till you happen onto the code.

One thing you need to be careful about is to NEVER dial the VM pilot# when you are doing the PROG AUTO* sequence.\
