Hi all, is there a way to send a caller immediately to voice mail when they call in. If so, what programming do I need to look at. Had it set so that they could put it in night service, but someone would call in and if someone answered it would still go right back to the operater after the conversation. I'm not familiar with Panasonic and would appreciate any help, thanks.

Your question is rather vague. I don't understand how a call would go to the operator after two parties talked and hung up.

NEED more info as to what you want.

If your talking about live person answering a call and wanting to send the outside caller straight to an ext milbox and not ring the phone, (or a phantom mailbox for that matter) that is
Voice Mail Transfer, requires a button to be programmed.

To program--Press PROGRAM button on idle phone- dial 99 - press the button you wish to make Voice Mail Transfer - Dial 8165 - press AUTODIAL/STORE
button- lift handset and replace. (165 being the VM pilot number, use your VM Pilot number if different)

To use - when on outside line call, press Voice Mail Transfer Button (this puts outside line on special hold) dial mailbox ext number or press desired DSS key - hang up.
