We currently have a Panasonic KX-T7433 Digital phone system in our offices.
We have 2 x small problems with only 1 of our phones that we cannot find solutions to in our manual.
Problem 1 - The message light is continually on and when pressed, is set to dial extension #252. We need to set it to dial extension #277 (voicemail). How do we do this?
Problem 2 - The same phone used to be on the intercom set up. (As soon as the handset was lifted you could dial a 3-digit extension and talk to fellow office staff) Now, when the handset is lifted there is automatically a dial tone ready to dial an outside line. If a 3-digit extension is dialled, it says 'Not Valid'. How do we put it back on the intercom set up? This problem occurred when the 'Auto Dial' button was played with????
Thank you

Do the following:
*FIRST put back intercom preference - press PROGRAM button- then dial 99 - then press INTERCOM button - then press STORE (auto-dial/store) button.
*To clear message (#252) lift handset OR press speakerphone (SP-PHONE) button- dial 700- then dial the extension number of THAT phone.
*Now set that phones forwarding to VM (busy/no answer) by pressing speakerphone- forward button (FWD/DND)- then dial 5 277 (vm ext.) -and press speakphone button (SP-PHONE) again. (if you don't want 'busy/no answer' which is what the 5 here represents -you have these options: ALL CALLS=2 / BUSY =3 / NO ANSWER=4 / AND BUSY/NO ANSWER..once again..=5) Your message button should go right to vm once that is done.
Let us know how things turned out.

Thank you for the prompt response!
Unfortunately, the first solution to put the phone back on Intercom doesn't seem to work. I have tried the directions both with & without lifting the handset first...
I cannot do the rest of the instructions as the dial tone is still there when we lift the handset ready to dial an external line.

That procedure is done with the handset hung-up /down ...and NOT on speakerphone either...when you say 'without lifting the handset'..you are not pressing speakerphone (SP-PHONE) either..?? correct??
